Plastic artist
¨Nado de hambre, de recordar que no descanso de sumergirme. Nado acompasada hasta hacer pie en la orilla, la sal en los párpados.

Me respira la isla. Me atraviesan de vida las plantas y simulo toda la normalidad de los otros.

Me nutro.

Me ovillo.

Y me devuelvo al mar.¨

Sonia Nordenstahl.

Universes that inhabit me is a series that arises from a deep process of connection with the soul and creativity. ¨Now I want to paint red¨- I heard myself saying. And so I began a spiral path towards my interior. Releasing the stroke, the rational mind, I let myself go with the movement of the brush, in the vibration of the color.

The work reflects the  universes that inhabited me and that in turn I inhabit.  My interior and the most immediate context come together, in exquisite synchronization in a creative wave .

WATER FRONTIERS PART 2

Art is a path that guides the artist towards her wildest connection with water.

In this series, Julia immerses herself in the infinity of graphics, of stains, of the liquidity of the materials, of the flow of the line to the rhythm of the vibration of the colors of nature.

Regarding the first series water borders I,  now the technique mutates and allows more subtle and profound nuances of the artist to be revealed. The aesthetic is transformed with aqueous colors of watercolor and liquid acrylic on paper,  that allow expressing the fluidity of the element.

A  through the stain, the graphics and the plots the new emerging is no longer in the first person, it is simply: absolute and forceful,  the consequence of the union of the unknown interior with the infinite ocean.  Both unfathomable and abysmal spaces.

Senses that merge into the immense and deep nature.  And reveals, the soul of the sea  where words are muffled sounds and shapes of diffuse outlines , linked by water.

A work, still in progress, that condenses the journey of several years.  Nature whispers in the ear, and through the works, the artists are its spokespersons.
